PARADE 7" lathe cut + booklet, booklet only
Carbon Records
CR312

The second in a series of Carbon releases featuring John Krausbauer and Jamie Green. Their first was "Art End Times’ Art of End Times", also a super limited 7" lathe cut and booklet. High (or is it low) art theory critique.

The audio on this (entitled PARADE 1-4) features some amazing string (guitar?) and reed interplay. One side is droney but also highly textured. Like watching a seemingly calm river flow by, but as you get closer, you see (and hear) the countless internal turbulent vortices. The 2nd piece on this side features reed and bells. Like a call for Ayler. Flip side includes a more calm bout of string and reed interplay, blues or maybe anti-blues. This is followed by a vignette of repetitive fluttering of high-end work by both players, mixing the sounds in such a way as to make it indiscernible which instrument is making which sound.

Awesome sounding 7" lathe cut, made by Audio Geography using their "HIFI" process "...HIFI cuts are made on two Vinyl Recorder systems, the cuts are stereo, high frequency range (30hz-15kHz+), with very low surface noise. These are nearly comparable to pressed records with a properly prepared master."

Limited Edition of 25!!!
