Two sides, two bands, two heavyweights. Attic Abasement’s songs are really well crafted and catchy indie rock gems. At times sounding like a Will Oldman fronted Pavement, and other times, matching the catchy-rock song intricacies of Joan of Arc / Make Believe. All while staying unique. Nod has this great energy that seems to be driving them on this release. Their songs are really loose and I love how they are showing some of their classic influences (VU/Blonde on Blonde-era Dylan) but still pure NOD.
