Carbon Records is an independent record label based in Rochester NY started and run by Joe Tunis. Carbon has been releasing records since the summer of 1994 It started out as a vehicle for local bands, but it has grown to supporting other national and international bands. The catalog ranges from improv, free-noise, drone, experimental, American-Primitive, and psych rock releases.
