The Blimp (Eugene OR)
I Need to Go to a Hospital
self-released CR-DITB
This is The Blimp from Eugene OR (not Scotland), psychedelic and avant-garage rock. Featuring Lucas Gunns (new solo LP on Carbon Records and Feeding Tube Records).
From Byron Coley's review on Discogs "more garagey than i had expected, but this is still a very cool homemade take on the post beefheart/zappa continuum, viewed through a punkoid lens. they don't don't like rustic hinge as much as they look like rustic hinge, but what are ya gonna do? it's 2016."
