sq = cleaning yr ears for 30+ years

Formed in 1995, originally as improv music for an art installation sq continued going from improv to angular structures and back to improv with an emphasis on drone, texture and rhythm. After years of being geographically challenged, sq is finally back in the same region of NY State with marc living in Ithaca and joe in Rochester. The two get together occasionally to play shows and record for new releases. They play guitars, drums, strings, bowls, bows, banjo, violin, sampler/delay pedals, reverb units, microphones, cords, amps, keyboards...
